Reflective- Chapter two

A few weeks passed, and everyday I went into the attic and visited with that Stranger in the mirror. After a few days we found that we could talk to each other through our thoughts. We started talking, and I learned about the person in the mirror, and he learned about me. He learned my name, Yugi, and I learned his was Yami. Everday during school, I would think about him all the time and tune everything else out, teachers and students having to say my name several times before I snapped back to reality. On this day, I had been thinking about the first time I had met Yami. One of my friends, Joey, looked at me curiously during lunch. " Heya Yug!" No answer, for I was spaced out again. " Yug? aw, come on, don't tell me your fantasizin 'bout some guy again?" I blushed brightly when I noticed his words. " N-no! O-of c-course not!" Joey laughed. " Aw, I'm just messin' with ya, no worries." I laughed nervously. " Uh... y-yeah, I k-knew that." I got up quickly as the bell rang, signalling the end of school. "Well... I gotta get home and help grandpa out at the shop." \
"Alright Yug' , see you later." We said our good-byes and I hurried home and straight up to the attic. I sat down cross-legged on the floor and spoke with my mind. // Yami? Are you there? // It was strange to see the mirror empty, and I longed for the now familiar features. // I'm coming, Yugi.... Hold on for a minute, please Aibou.// I blushed, remembering Joey's question. // A-Aibou?!// Suddenly, Yami stepped into view, simply wearing his usual leather pants, but without a shirt. I stared at him and let my eyes slowly look him over, admiring the lean muscles and pale skin. I looked back up to his eyes, feeling a bit embarrassed. //Aibou? What's wrong? Your being strangely quiet today.// I blushed and looked down. // Your..... your shirt. What happened to it?// Yami looked down at himself. // Would you rather I wore a shirt?//
//Well I-//
// Never mind that. Aibou, do you remember the day we met?// I nodded. // Of course.//
Yami looked at me, a slightly curious look in his eyes. // Well, If we could feel the heat of our skin through the mirror, perhaps we ourselves Could go through the mirror// I thought about that for a second. // But.... That doesn't make any sense.// Yami turned away for a second, and took a deep breath before looking back to me. // We can still try //
